Work Crew
The Edible Garden Work Crew are a busy bunch travelling the Central Coast to provide lawn maintenance for our local residents. They learn to use a range of garden equipment and how to maintain them. They are also pretty handy at those odd jobs that pop up from time to time where an extra pair of hands are needed.
Join the Work Crew
Join the Edible Garden Work Crew and go out in the community to complete tasks such as Lawn Mowing, Whipper Snipping, Rubbish removal and odd jobs.
Equipment Maintenance
As well as servicing local residents the Work Crew look after their own equipment by servicing them and learning all aspects about safety when using powered equipment.
The Options Work Van
The Edible Garden Work Crew goes out and about to tackle garden maintenance jobs in the OPTIONS Work Van. They travel all over the Central Coast to help our local residents.
Learning New Skills
The Edible Garden Work Crew learn valuable skills that they can use to help out at home or to earn some money doing gardening jobs in the community.
Team Work
The Work Crew operate as a team and a good work ethic is encouraged. A sense of friendship and fun is the best way to get through a busy day of work.
Projects
The Edible Garden Work Crew help out with odd jobs and projects at our various sites lending an extra pair of hands when needed.
Work Crew Van – Donation
Margaret Knight was a long-term client of the OPTIONS Work Crew who took care of Margaret’s lawn mowing services. Our Work Crew established a strong friendship with her over ten years as they regularly helped her by maintaining her garden.
Sadly Margaret passed away and is still missed by the Work Crew who enjoyed helping her. In a very kind gesture, Margaret left a generous donation to the Options Work Crew in her will which was used to purchase a Brand New Van for the Work Crew.
It’s comforting for our Work Crew to know that Margaret is still with them each day, as they drive to their jobs, Margaret will be helping OPTIONS to help others for many years to come.

Garden Crew
Work outdoors with the Garden Crew and learn how to plant, grow and cultivate a range of plants, flowers, herbs and vegetables.
Cafe Crew
Create delicious meals and cafe style snacks for our participants and staff.
Our Cafe Crew also prepare and cater gourmet delights for events and shows
Print Room
Discover the secrets of design and gain skills in digital print and design in the Print Room. Make a range of printed items including T-Shirts, Mugs and Stickers.
Foodies Group
The Foodies Group make a range of delicious cakes, cookies, slices as well as sauces, jams, fudges, nuts and other food items for our Market Stalls and Hampers.
Art Shed
Unleash your inner artist in the Edible Garden Art Shed. Create masterpieces that may be chosen to feature in our annual Art Exhibition.
Health and Wellbeing
The Health and Wellbeing Program focuses on Health, Fitness, Yoga, Meditation, Social and Relationship Skills.
