Our Health and Wellbeing Program
The Edible Garden Health and Wellbeing Programs cover a range of different topics each day. With a strong focus on Health and Fitness activities such as Sport, Bush Walking, Yoga and Fitness. We also have regular group programs which explore Social Skills, Relationships and the benefits of Volunteering in the community.

Sports
There are regular Sports, outdoor activities and games at the the Edible Garden. If the weather is wet we enjoy indoor fun with board games and puzzles.

Health & Fitness
We have a strong focus on Health and Fitness at the Edible Garden. Regular groups discussing healthy eating, fitness, diet and lifestyle are aimed at keeping our participants healthy, fit and strong.

Yoga & Meditation
Our Edible Garden Yoga and Meditation Groups are designed to focus on mental and emotional wellbeing. We practice Mindfullness techniques and promote the benefits of meditation.

Bush Walking
We love to get out and about in the great outdoors. Whether it’s walking in the beautiful Mt Penang Parklands or on bushwalking adventures, it’s great to go exploring on the Central Coast.

Relationships
The Edible Garden holds regular discussion groups to assist with building strong, safe and healthy relationships. We discuss strategies on how to identify and stop bullying and any form of violence.

Social Skills
The Social Skills Programs focus on developing social interactions with each other and the community. This includes volunteering with organisations such as Hammond Care and Meals on Wheels.
Yoga in the Garden
Afternoon Yoga Sessions
Our participants all enjoy a bit of time to unwind, stretch and relax with our very popular Yoga Sessions in the Garden.
It’s the perfect way to end the day and a great opportunity for some gentle fun and fitness.
Suitable for all ages and abilities, our guided Yoga Sessions are enjoyed by everyone.
Edible Garden Programs
Garden Crew
Work outdoors with the Garden Crew and learn how to plant, grow and cultivate a range of plants, flowers, herbs and vegetables.
Cafe Crew
Create delicious meals and cafe style snacks for our participants and staff.
Our Cafe Crew also prepare and cater gourmet delights for events and shows
Print Room
Discover the secrets of design and gain skills in digital print and design in the Print Room. Make a range of printed items including T-Shirts, Mugs and Stickers.
Foodies Group
The Foodies Group make a range of delicious cakes, cookies, slices as well as sauces, jams, fudges, nuts and other food items for our Market Stalls and Hampers.
Art Shed
Unleash your inner artist in the Edible Garden Art Shed. Create masterpieces that may be chosen to feature in our annual Art Exhibition.
Health and Wellbeing
The Health and Wellbeing Program focuses on Health, Fitness, Yoga, Meditation, Social and Relationship Skills.
Work Crew
Join the Work Crew and go out in the community providing lawn maintenance for local residents and businesses.
